Lollipop Lyra Semi-Private Lesson

DESCRIPTION:

Semi-Private Lessons allow you to bring your friends or family to share a private lesson. Select the purple Book Now button below for scheduling availability. Max: 4 participants, Age 16+. Lollipop Lyra is an aerial hoop (lyra) mounted atop a free-standing pole set into a circular stage. Because of its design, this versatile apparatus can beautifully blend elements of traditional lyra with pole dance. Some students prefer to work primarily with the lyra portion, and others love incorporating pole skills, exploring the unique possiblities created by using the pole and lyra together - it's your preference! The lollipop lyra can be set to spin or be stationary. In semiprivate lessons, we can also work on fun duo skills - where 2 people are on the lollipop at the same time! PREREQUISITES: Age 16+. Foundational aerial experience is required to ensure your safety on the lollipop lyra. The bottom of the hoop on Upside's lollipops is fixed at 5'2". Because the height of the hoop is not adjustable, students need to be able to do a single knee hook mount of a hoop at or above head height with good control. If you aren't sure, start with our Intro to Lyra classes where the aerial hoop height can be adjusted on our pulley system. HOW TO BOOK: Only one person from your group will book your time slot here. Add the name, phone, and email of everyone in your group in the space provided on the booking form. We'll then add them to your reservation and email them links to complete our waiver and payment.
