St. Paddy's Day Bash

Upside Aerial students and instructors will be performing for Downtown Burlington's St. Paddy's Day Bash Friday, March 17th, from 5 to 8pm! This festival features live music & entertainers, food trucks, and a beer garden. Family-friendly fun including face painting, balloon twisting and more will be from 5 to 8pm. The beer garden will be open till 9pm.

FOR UPSIDE AERIAL STUDENTS & PERFORMERS:

We love providing opportunities for our students to perform in front of live audiences and to connect with each other outside the studio! We will have our free-standing aerial rig set up near Burlington Beer Works in downtown Burlington. We'll provide St. Paddy's Day-themed music, so come prepared with a sequence you feel comfortable with on the apparatus(es) you train on regularly at Upside. Students and instructors will take turns performing their sequences for festival-goers to enjoy. If you don't want to perform, we'd love it if you still came to hang out with us: you can help us with setup or breakdown and cheer on your fellow Upsiders! 

If you are performing, you can either bring your own aerial fabric/apparatus or use the studio-provided equipment. Please wear green or your Upside Aerial apparel with green accents or accessories! Feel free to glam it up...festival-goers love color and costumes: we recommend green face glitter and green gemstones (applied with lash glue or spirit gum). Just remember to avoid sharp, poky accessories that may get caught on your aerial apparatus.

EVENT SCHEDULE

• 3:30pm to 5:00pm Aerial Rig Setup (near Burlington Beer Works in downtown Burlington)
• 5:00pm to 8:00pm Upside Aerial Performances and Event festivities
• 8:00pm to 9:00pm Aerial Rig Breakdown. Beer garden remains open till 9pm

PARKING

You can park in any public parking lots in Downtown Burlington. We recommend Lots 1 or 2 to be closest to the aerial rig.  Click here for a parking map
