St. Paddy's Day Bash

Upside Aerial will be performing for the City of Burlington's St. Paddy's Day Bash on Friday, March 18th, 5 to 8pm! This free event will include live music & dance performances, kids entertainment, community organizations, as well as plenty of food & alcohol vendors all to celebrate St. Paddy's Day!

FOR UPSIDE AERIAL STUDENTS & PERFORMERS:

We love providing opportunities for our students to perform in front of live audiences! This is a great opportunity to get ready for our Spring Showcase in May, so feel free to prepare a piece choreographed to a specific song. Or you can keep it more low-key and just do a sequence you feel comfortable while we play some ambient music for you in the background. If you don't want to perform, come and hang out with your Upside Aerial Family and help us with setup and breakdown. If you are performing, you can either bring your own aerial fabric/apparatus or use the studio-provided equipment. Please wear something to celebrate St. Paddy's Day or your Upside Aerial apparel. The kids love costumes, so feel free to have fun with this! We recommend green glitter (applied with eyelash glue or spirit gum) and green fake flowers from the craft store for easy ways to glam it up! (Just remember to avoid sharp, poky accessories that may get caught on your aerial apparatus.)

3:30 - 5:00pm Aerial Rig Setup (in front of Paramount Theater on the corner of Front & Spring Street - see parking link below)

5:00 - 8:00pm Upside Aerial Performances and Event festivities

8:00 - 9:00pm Aerial Rig Breakdown and Event festivities (food and alcohol served till 9pm)

PARKING

You can park in any public parking lots in Downtown Burlington. We recommend Lots 1 or 2 to be closest to the aerial rig.  Click here for a parking map (Upside Aerial location is starred.)
