Private Lesson with Waverly - 7/23 at 2:15pm

We are so excited to have the amazing Waverly Jones visiting our studio Friday to Sunday, July 23rd to 25th!! She'll be offering a variety of workshops on Aerial Silks and Lyra as well as private & semiprivate lessons. Here is a schedule of all her offerings (with pricing) throughout the weekend. Register for any workshops or privates under the Events tab. If you normally attend classes with us Friday - Sunday, be sure to check our studio schedule duirng Waverly Weekend: some classes have been canceled and some remain unchanged. 

Private Lessons with Waverly

Take advantage of Waverly being at our studio for a solid hour of Waverly one-on-one time! All levels are welcome and you can choose between silks or lyra. On the registration form, you are welcome to make requests of things you'd like to learn or focus on . Private lessons are $120, or check out the semiprivate option below to split with friends.  

Semiprivate Lessons with Waverly

Pricing to split a 1 hour semiprivate silks or lyra lesson with your friends is $180 for 2 students, $210 for 3 students, or $240 for 4 students. In order to book a semiprivate, you (the person organizing your semiprivate) will register and pay for 1 "ticket" for $120. Then, on the registration form, add the names, email addresses, and phone numbers of anyone else in your group. We will add them to your booking and send them an email invoice for the remaining balance. The balance is due at least 2 weeks prior to your lesson date. If you want your friend(s) to pay you back for a portion of your payment, ya'll can work that out amongst yourselves!  :-) 

About the Instructor

As a versatile aerialist, Waverly Jones specializes in several apparatuses including Aerial Silks (Fabric/Tissu), Aerial Hoop (Lyra), Duo Aerial Arts, Spanish web, Corde Lisse (Rope), and Dance Pole Arts. Waverly began performing professionally in January of 2011 when she became a company member of Asheville Aerial Arts. She has since performed at countless festivals, galas, fund raisers, carnivals, corporate events, weddings, concerts, and private parties. In July of 2015 Waverly and dear friend, Heather Poole, opened Asheville’s first and only certified aerial and movement arts studio: Empyrean Arts. Empyrean Arts provides students with a safe and supportive environment for anyone wanting to explore personal development through movement art education. Waverly holds a Master Trainer Instructor Certification in Pole Dance and Fitness from Dakota Fox’s Aradia Fitness USA, and in the spring of 2017 she collaborated with Dakota Fox and Heather Poole to create Aerial Silks and Aerial Hoop teacher training programs for Aradia Fitness. More than anything, Waverly deeply enjoys connecting and growing with others through the performance and instruction of aerial arts.
