MOVEMENT LAB: FINDING VOICE THROUGH MOTION

These 2-hour workshops, offered Sunday Aug 30th and Sunday Sept 27th from 5 to 7pm, explore the creation process at the intersection of movement and identity. Led by Houston Odum, Founder and Artistic Director of Circus EVO, we'll dig into how movement can evoke real emotion and help performers find an authentic voice onstage, beyond technique and toward truth. We will explore non-typical performance styles and the ways movement and acrobatics can merge into something new, discovering fresh creative pathways in the process.

Open to all levels, no experience required.

Houston brings over 7 years directing circus productions, with more than 5 full length shows and 70+ artists collaborated with, and work presented across 3 countries and 6 US states.
