Mebane Halloween Spooktacular

Upside Aerial students and instructors will be performing for the Mebane Halloween Spooktacular on Saturday, October 24th, from 10am to 2pm! This free event features:

• Food Trucks and Vendors

• Live Entertainment and Spooky Music

• Photo Booths

• Costume Awards

• Trick-or-Treating (1pm to 2pm)

This event is drug and alcohol-free and leashed pet-friendly! Learn more at the City of Mebane website here.

EVENT SCHEDULE

• 8:30am to 10am: Aerial Rig Setup (on West Clay Street in Downtown Mebane - exact location TBD: All Upsiders who RSVP will receive an email with final details closer to the event.)

• 10am - 1pm: Upside Aerial Performances

• 1pm - 2pm: Trick-or-Treating begins. Aerial Rig Breakdown.

  
  

PARKING

Parking is available on Center St (70), the gravel parking lot on Ruffin, a few spaces on 5th St, and along Washington St. Nearby businesses and churches may allow use of their parking lots at their discretion. We recommend arriving early to ensure a closer parking spot!

FOR UPSIDE AERIAL STUDENTS & PERFORMERS:

We work hard to provide opportunities for our students to perform for live audiences and connect with each other outside the studio! We encourage ALL Upsiders to attend this festival and cheer on our performers! If you are not performing, RSVP to let us know you're coming or if you can help us with setup and breakdown. If you'd like to perform, you should:

• Be training at the Intermediate Level or higher.

• Have experience performing in showcases and on the free-standing aerial rig.

• Attend Upside classes regularly (i.e. 4 or more classes per month).

• Start preparing your family-friendy act NOW - Oct 24th isn't far away! Halloween-inspired acts and songs with fun costumes highly encouraged!

• Have the stamina to perform your act at least 2 times during the festival. You are also welcome to prepare a shorter, more relaxed sequence in addition to your act.

• Complete a performer check-in by Sat, Oct 10th (2 weeks prior to the festival) - details in the Performer Form below.

• RSVP below, then read and complete the Performer Form by Sat, Sept 19th.
