Mebane Dogwood Festival

Upside Aerial students and instructors will be performing for the Mebane Dogwood Festival on Friday, April 24th, from 6pm to 8pm! This 2-day festival includes a golf tournament, 5K Race, Car Show, live music, over 200 vendors, carnival rides, and more! Learn more about the festival here: https://themebanedogwoodfestival.com/

FOR UPSIDE AERIAL STUDENTS & PERFORMERS:

We work hard to provide opportunities for our students to perform for live audiences and connect with each other outside the studio. We encourage ALL Upsiders to attend this festival and cheer on our performers! To perform for this event, you should be Foundations Level or higher and attend our classes regularly (e.g. 4 or more classes per month). Aerial safety and preparedness are always our top priority.

Performers are highly encouraged to choreograph an act to a family-friendy song of their choice. Eye-catching costumes and makeup are also encouraged! In addition to (or instead of) a choreographed act, performers can prepare 1 or 2 sequences they can repeat safely and comfortably. However due to the shorter run time of this event, priority will be given to performers with choreographed acts. But hopefully we'll have time for everyone who signs up to get a chance to show off! PARKING

Parking is available on Center St (70), the gravel parking lot on Ruffin, a few spaces on 5th St, and along Washington St. Nearby businesses and churches may allow use of their parking lots at their discretion.
