Let's Get Lifted

Let's Get Lifted is a community event organized by Upside Aerial student, Melissa Wooten-Carter. When Melissa became a realtor, she named her company Upside Realty to honor the uplifting role Upside Aerial has played in her life. She organized this fun event to get the word out about both companies! The event will be held at the Griffin Recreation Center in Greensboro, and will include a DJ and light refreshments in addition to Upside Aerial performances! Please note that a max of 100 guests are allowed in the Center at any one time, so be sure to check with us before bringing guests with you.

EVENT SCHEDULE:

12:00pm - 1:00pm Aerial Rig Set up

1:30pm - 2:30pm Upside Aerial Performances - Round 1

3:00pm - 4:00pm Upside Aerial Performances - Round 2

4:00pm - 5:00pm Aerial Rig Break down

FOR UPSIDE AERIAL STUDENTS & PERFORMERS:

We love providing opportunities for our students to perform in front of live audiences. We find it brings our circus family closer together and helps our students take their aerial training to the next level! Want to use this event as an opportunity to get ready for our October Fall Showcase? Go for it! Or you can repeat a previous showcase performance or show off some sequences you've been working on in class (as long as you feel they are "performance-ready"). You are also welcome to just come and hang out with your Upside Aerial Family and help us with setup and breakdown. If you are performing, you can either bring your own aerial fabric/apparatus or you can use the studio-provided equipment. Please arrive in full makeup & costume. Feel free to glam it up! (If you want to be more low key, that's also fine: you can also wear your Upside Aerial apparel).
