Elon University HealthEU Wellness Fair

Upside Aerial students and instructors will be providing aerial arts demonstrations for the Elon University HealthEU Wellness Fair on October 22nd, from 9:00am to 12:30pm! Elon University community members will also have the chance to win free aerial classes at our studio. There's a reason our members call our classes "aerial therapy!" Come find out why! The mission of Health EU is to promote various aspects of well-being at Elon University, including Community, Physical, Emotional, Social, and Purpose. Members of our Upside Aerial family can attest how much participating in aerial arts at our studio foster their well-being in all these areas.

FOR UPSIDE AERIAL STUDENTS & PERFORMERS:

We love providing opportunities for our students to share their love of aerial arts! If you are going to attend, we need you to RSVP below to help our team plan. To provide aerial demonstrations with us, you'll need to have been training at Upside regularly since July 22, 2024. (Unsure if you are ready? Please check with your Upside instructor! Safety is ALWAYS our top priority.) This is an informal event with lots happening right around the rig, so we won't be playing performance songs or doing full acts. We'll just be playing ambient music and giving event attendees a taste of aerial arts - so just be sure you have a sequence you feel safe and comfortable doing. Even if you are not going to be doing aerial demos, feel free to come hang out with your Upside Aerial Family or help us with setup and breakdown! 

What to Wear:

Please wear your Upside Aerial apparel with any circus accents you want to add! We recommend face glitter and gemstones (applied with lash glue or spirit gum). Just remember to avoid zippers, jewelry/watches, or sharp, poky accessories that may get caught on your aerial apparatus.

PARKING

Visitor parking spaces are available in the The Oaks Parking (closest!), McMichael Parking, or Innovation Quad lots. Search for any of these on the interactive Elon Campus map here. If these are full, park at the Schar Center (but it's a bit farther to walk).
