About the event
The City of Burlington has asked Upside Aerial to provide entertainment for their annual Dark in the Park Halloween Festival! Upside Owner, Michelle Spurlock, will be performing at 5:45, 6:45, and 7:45pm. In between, we invite Upsiders of ALL SKILL LEVELS to show off their aerial awesomeness for festival-goers! You are welcome to just hang out with us, but if you plan to demo, wear a fabric-safe and kid-friendly costume! It's usually chilly this time of year, so dress accordingly, and bring a blanket and/or folding chair. RSVP here to let us know your coming, whether you plan to demo, and if you can help us with rig set up or break down.
OUR LOCATION:
The Upside Aerial rig will be located on Ball Field #1 (address for your GPS: 1402 Overbrook Rd Burlington). Click/tap here for a Festival Map. The yellow star marks Upside's spot! Please note parking options and road closures on the map in red. Due to safety concerns surrounding the 8pm fireworks show, Kitchin Street and the Greenway will be SHUT DOWN (to vehicles at 6pm and to foot traffic at 6:30pm). They will not reopen until the Fire Department has issued an all-clear after the fireworks show has finished. Please plan accordingly!
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL:
Come out and enjoy an evening of Halloween fun at City Park on Saturday, October 26th, starting at 5pm. There will be a Costume Contest at 6pm for children ages 12 & under at the Thataways Stage. On Field #1, enjoy food from local vendors, play carnival games, and enjoy aerial performances and demos. Be sure to catch a ride on The Ghost Train ($5 per person - height restrictions apply).
