About the event
The Burlington Carousel Festival is the largest event hosted in the City of Burlington...and they've asked Upside Aerial Arts & Fitness to be there! The festival takes place over two days: September 21st (10am to 6pm) and September 22nd (12pm to 5pm). Michelle Spurlock, Upside's owner, will give 3 aerial silks performances on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. In between, we want Upside Aerial students to help share aerial arts with our local community! We need ALL LEVELS of student represented. Student demos can range from showing off a few skills you've learned in class to preparing a fully choreographed piece complete with music and costume. Let's inspire people of all ages, shapes, and sizes to try aerial arts at Upside! We have canceled aerial classes and Open Studio during the Festival to encourage as many of our students as possible to come get their FREE aerial playtime at the festival. (Ground Circus Arts classes with Alex are still on as scheduled for 9/22.) Be sure to register to let us know when you can come: we'd like to have people demo-ing all throughout both days of the festival!
The Carousel Festival features live music at multiple stages, arts & crafts fair, food & a beer garden, Amusement Park Rides & fun for the whole family.
