Pole Semi-Private Lesson

DESCRIPTION:

Semi-Private Lessons allow you to bring a friend or family member to share a private lesson. We have one stage pole at our studio so Pole Semi-Private Lessons can have a max of 2 participants. OUR POLE INSTRUCTORS: Ashanti has been a pole dance instructor since 2015. In addition to teaching aerial silks and lyra at Upside Aerial, she has also trained in belly dance, ballet, and burlesque. Juli has been teaching pole since 2014. She also has an extensive teaching and training background in parter acrobatics, hand balancing, flying trapeze, cyr wheel, and aerial pole. Both Ashanti and Juli teach beginner to advanced level pole. Daniella has been teaching and competing in pole competitions since 2021. Daniella teaches beginner to intermediate level pole lessons and specializes in: 1. Heel Work: teaching how to use platform heels to extend leg lines, strengthen ankles, and add flare and accents to choreography. 2. Pole Choreography: assisting in all aspects of preparing a Pole Performance, including picking music, developing sequences, finding moments of musicality, character development, etc. 3. Static Rotation: teaching dynamic, rotational movement on Static Pole, essential for all levels of pole. 4. Pole Competition: assisting in all aspects of Pole Competition preparation, including understanding competition rules and categories, help with choreography, and everything necessary for a successful competition experience. WHAT TO WEAR: A t-shirt, sports bra (for female-identifying students) and athletic shorts are ideal. Avoid oil-based lotions 24 hours before class and be sure to remove all jewelry from hands and feet.
