Aerial Sling Sequencing

DESCRIPTION:

Aerial Sling Sequencing is a 75-minute group class is for adult (age 16+) students with previous aerial sling experience. Students will build on sling foundations and use the skills we've previously learned to create sequences and flows. Sling sequencing will train your endurance, aerial memory, and understanding of the sling apparatus! We will also explore creative movement and how intentions can change the quality of performance. PREREQUISITES: 1. Understanding of aerial sling foundations (6+ months regular aerial practice or instructor approval). 2. Ability to hold a straight arm hang and bent arm hang while standing on the loop. 3. Comfort with pulling over the sling to a hip hang, climbing up to and sitting in harness wrap, and endurance to link several skills together. Not sure if you have adequate experience? Contact us! Aerial Yoga uses a fabric hammock as a prop to help deepen or assist yoga poses. Aerial Sling, on the other hand, stems from circus performing arts and tends to be much more playful with a focus on aerial skills, tricks, and dance-like flow.
