Handstands & Inversions Open Studio

DESCRIPTION:

Handstands & Inversions Open Studio is a 90-minute practice session open to current Upside students for working on hand balancing skills! Aerial points will not be available at this time and the entire floor will be utilized for warmup and conditioning stations before being cleared for handstands and inversions. This session will not be led by the supervising instructor. Each student is responsible for doing a proper warmup before starting handstands. You must reserve your spot 24 hours in advance as capacity is limited to 10 students. Requires a minimum of 2 students to run. PRICE: $20 for a single session. Save by getting a package of 4 ($17 per session) or 8 ($14 per session) available at checkout or under the Pricing tab of our website or app. OPEN STUDIO RULES: • Open Studio is for current Upside students only. • You (or a parent/guardian) must complete our waiver and required info at www.upsideaerial.com/waiver • A parent/guardian must be present in the studio with any participants under age 13. • A certified instructor will act as Safety Supervisor at all times. If the Safety Supervisor needs to leave the studio for any reason, remain on the ground till they return. Unsupervised training is strictly prohibited. • Participants are not allowed under any circumstance to teach other participants any acrobatics movement, pose, sequence, skill, etc. This is known as skill trading or skill-sharing and is strictly prohibited. • Open Studio is for practicing skills you have already learned, not learning new skills. Do not practice new skills from videos. This is NOT SAFE. • Proper attire: All jewelry and watches must be removed. Clothing should be form-fitting and cover your back, abdomen, and behind the knees.
