Aerial Straps Semi-Private Lesson

DESCRIPTION:

Aerial Straps is a high-flying, excitingly dynamic discipline, and we are ao lucky to have professional straps performer and instructor, Alex Oliva, visiting our studio! In order to take straps private lessons with Alex, you don't need prior straps experience, but some previous aerial experienced is required: you should have the ability to invert cleanly on any aerial apparatus and the ability to hang in the air from two arms with engaged shoulders for at least 10 seconds. Alex can teach semiprivate lessons for 2 to 4 participants. See BOOKING information below. About Alex: Alex Oliva is a circus and movement artist based in Boston, MA. He specializes in aerial straps, Cyr wheel, and contemporary dance. Alex always seeks to push the boundaries of circus with captivating and innovative movement by combining elements from his gymnastics and dance background. He has performed with companies such as CirqOvation (Syracuse), Scarlett Entertainment (US/UK), House of Yes (NYC), Berber (San Francisco), and Taconhy Entertainment's "Circus on Ice" (US tour). He is in his fourth season as a dancer with contemporary dance group Urbanity Underground (Boston), where they put on several stage shows every year. Alex received his circus training under Michael Lanphear (Boston), Victor Fomine, Angelica Bongiovonni, and Eric Deschenes (Montreal). Prior to circus, he received training in contemporary and classical dance for 6 years, and in artistic gymnastics for 5 years. BOOKING: Only one person from your group will book your time slot. Then add the name, phone, and email of everyone in your group in the space provided on the booking form. (If you are using our app, this will be at the bottom of the Booking Summary page after you request a time slot). Then we'll add each person to your reservation and email them links to complete our waiver and payment online. PRICE: Semi-Private lessons are 1 hour and cost $46/person (for 2 to 4 participants). Packages are not available for Alex's services at this time. 24 HOURS BEFORE YOUR LESSON: 1. Everyone in your group must complete payment at least 24 hours before the lesson to hold their spot.
